Philip DiMuro and Dave Phelan attended the same college, joined the same fraternity, studied abroad together, and now have started two businesses together. After graduation, Phil was working in sales for Boston Beer in Baltimore and saw a missing opportunity in the market. There was no easy way to connect businesses with potential customers looking to eat or drink before they went out. Phil and Dave quit their corporate jobs to go full-time into building Loople. In two and a half years, Loople expanded into DC, grew to over 50k users, and had over 7.5k businesses on the platform. While achieving user growth, the revenue could not sustain scaling them business and not to mention neither had ever taken a salary. While trying to raise money from an investor, Phil and Dave lost the investment, but were asked to build him a mobile app. Little did they know that this has now turned into their full-time business two years later. They focus on the lean startup methodology and work with founders on their web or mobile needs.
